Punong Guro Tony Marcial, Founder & Head Instructor, has over 30 years experience in various forms of Martial Arts:
Guro Tony had the privilege of studying Kali in The Philippines under Punong Guro Roberto Sarmiento. When he moved to the US, he kept true to The Filipino tradition and taught Kali underground ONLY. In 1990, Guro Tony decided to share the knowledge of his Warrior Art. He opened his first Kali school in 1990 and started teaching The Art of Marcial Tirada to the public.

Guro R.E.Lewis has been studying martial arts since 1995. He began studying Tae Kwon Do for two and a half years. During this time he also studied Maphilindo Silat and Jeet Kune do.
Guro R.E. discovered that Kali was the art he had been looking for. Guro R.E. spent every minute possible at the school, there was no where he would rather be. His diligence paid off. In 4 1/2 years, he became a certified instructor, and the youngest black sash in the art of Marcial Tirada Kali.

Guro Bob Bonness, a 19 year veteran of the Cleveland Police Department, has a 23 year association with The Philippine Martial Arts and has earned a black sash in White Crane, Gung Fu and also a black sash in Kali.

In addition, Guro Jerry maintains a high level of proficiency in a variety of small arms ranging from black powder firearms to modern semi-automatic weapons.
Guro Jerry is highly effective at combat knife throwing, as well as a number of other throwing or projectile weapons. His specialty is a system of unarmed self defense, which he has developed combining the arts of Isshin-Ryu and Kali.
Guro Jerry is a private investigator licensed with the Ohio Department of Safety (Division of Homeland Security).

Guro Mark Ullman has trained in Kali under Punong Guro Tony Marcial since 1995. He contracted viral meningitis during the first year of training, with some resultant nerve damage. The shoulder blade stuck out and he could not lift his arm above shoulder level. The Kali training helped serve as therapy and full mobility and strength was ultimately regained. So there are many benefits to studying the Art of Marcial Tirada Kali.
Currently teaching high school, Guro Mark also works as a tennis instructor. Kali training benefits this other "stick" art as well. He also continues to enjoy expanding his knowledge ofthis traditional Martial Arts of The Philippines.
